An indisputable evidence has surfaced on the social media which clearly indicates that Njikwa Sub Division, North West region, is still under the control of the Cameroon security forces.

The communique which is currently being propagated by the Equinox TV Journalist; Mimi Mefo, (purported to be from the Momo SDO) which stated that Njikwa sub division has fallen to "terrorists" following recent attacks by the Ambazonia defense forces, is FAKE.

About 24 hours ago, a hand message purportedly signed by the senior divisional officer for Momo and widely diffused over the social media, announces the complete take over of Njikwa Sub Division by terrorists of the SCNC. The senior divisional officer for Momo hereby denounces this information and terms it misinformation. The senior divisional officer for Momo urged the population of Njikwa subdivision in particular and those in Momo Division in general to continue to attend to their various occupations with tranquility.
