After carrying out a thorough investigation, we can authoritatively report that the police Commissioner who was shot and killed at his residence in Mutengene yesterday morning i.e. 5th August 2018, was assassinated by the Amba Boys.

Eye witness accounts revealed that the police commissioner was shot in his bathroom.

The assassinated police officer who goes by the name Nkwelle Ekanjume Simon Ngabe is an Anglophone Cameroonian who hails from Nteho Village in Bangem Sub-division.


The shooting of the senior police officer has plunged Mutengene into chaos.

As usual, we have drawn the attention of Amnesty International, International Crisis Group, REDHAC, CNN, BBC et al to this targeted killing.
